Original Press Release:

ACUSTRIP is Proud to Announce the Ethanol in Gasoline Test Kit. Part #987600

The ACUSTRIP ethanol test kit includes everything you need for 5 evaluations. The ACUSTRIP Ethanol kit refills are available to support your testing needs. Measure the Ethanol level in your fuel to avoid problems.

Pay Close Attention to What You Put in the Tank

All manufacturers currently prohibit use of gas containing over 10% ethanol, and most warranties clearly state that repairs will not be covered when gas in tank contains over 10% legal limit of ethanol. In the U.S. only flex-fuel vehicles are designed to use over 10% ethanol (E85).

Check your gas cap. EPA has approved the introduction of some mid-level ethanol blends (E15, E30, E85) for use in a small, subset of automobiles in an effort to comply with the federal renewable fuel mandate; the problem is that these higher ethanol fuel blends may bedispensed with current fuels, but they are illegal and are risky to use in hundreds of millions of small engine products and applications. This includes small engine products, such as lawn mowers, garden tractors, chain saws, boats, snow throwers, trimmers, UTVs, power washers, blowers, chippers, grinders, generators, jaws-of-life, concrete saws and other compact construction equipment, as well as small engine applications such as water pumps and irrigation systems.

The Kit includes: Reusable Graduated Cylinder; Reusable Bottle; Reusable Funnel; Reusable Brush; 5 vials of FluidDx™ Ethanol Reagent.

The New ACUSTRIP Ethanol test kit will identify when you need to change your fuel, to protect your engine, and give you peace of mind.
