EMR Innovations Announces ProcessPro® 2K5
ProcessPro® 2K5.060 software includes enhanced quality control, additional functionality to support cGMP controls, improved sales orders and forecasting, and much more.
St. Cloud, Minn., February 17, 2005- EMR Innovations, developers of ProcessPro® software, announces the March 31st scheduled release of ProcessPro 2K5. The new features focus on improvements that give customers increased flexibility and security needed to effectively manage and control their manufacturing processes.

2K5 functionality expands ProcessPro's support of cGMP controls. Options have been added to require a second signature prior to changing the quality control status of an item, as well as when posting a batch ticket. New privileges have been added, and validation of key fields expanded. "These additions help companies adhere to manufacturing regulations by providing greater flexibility in electronic audit controls, reducing the need for additional external systems and procedures," says Shanon Odegaard, Quality Systems Manager.
Quality control functionality now operates through the utilization of statuses and allows the user to identify and track an unlimited number of statuses by lot and by location. "Tracking inventory by status gives the user the ability to quarantine portions of a specific lot for further review. This is particularly beneficial for product returns," says Odegaard.
Scheduling enhancements allow users to prioritize batches that are to be made in a given time period. "This will greatly reduce the amount of downtime or cleanup required between batches, increasing the company's throughput and ultimately their bottom line," says Jason Bunting, Implementation Specialist Team Lead.
Forecasting improvements provide the ability to export historical sales data, allowing the user to create sales forecasts that can be imported back into the system for manufacturing and purchasing planning.
