Epson SureColor F2000 Direct-to-Garment Printers Win 2014 Must See 'Ems Award

Calif. — Epson today announced its SureColor® F2000 Series direct-to-garment (DTG) ink jet printers have received a Must See 'Ems award in the "Future of Print" category. Selected by a panel of distinguished industry-leading consultants and experts, the Must See 'Ems winners represent the most compelling technology and trends impacting virtually the entire graphic communications industry. The SureColor F2000 Series will be honored at the upcoming Graph Expo show, taking place Sept. 28 - Oct. 1 at McCormick Place in Chicago.

"We are honored to be recognized with this prestigious industry award, underscoring the impact the SureColor F2000 Series has had on the DTG printing industry," said Larry Kaufman, product manager, Professional Imaging, Epson America, Inc. "Although relatively new to the market, the SureColor F2000 Series not only provides garment shops with superior print quality and reliability, it also enables expanded creative applications via customization for high-profit, short-run jobs, and we look forward to even more innovative use cases and applications to come."

For over three years, Epson dedicated a team of mechanical, chemical and software engineers to create an all-new imaging technology solution for printing directly onto garments. This resulted in the SureColor F2000 Series printers that deliver industrial-level production, image quality and reliability. With the ability to print directly onto garments - t-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, tote bags, and more - ranging from 100 percent cotton to 50/50 cotton/synthetic fiber blends, the SureColor F2000 Series offers additional revenue opportunities for garment print shops of any size.

More about the SureColor F2000 Series

The SureColor F2000 Series printers leverage Epson UltraChrome® DG ink technology - an all new garment ink formulation developed specifically for the Epson PrecisionCore™ TFP® printhead - delivering precise and repeatable performance, image quality and high reliability. The Epson SureColor F2000 White Edition offers the benefit of white ink for printing on dark or color fabrics, and the Epson SureColor F2000 Color Edition is a high-speed CMYK-only model.
