Enhanced Lettering - NCL Multi-Axis Machining Software -

Newport Beach, California - August 5, 2008 - NCCS, the developer of NCL multi-axis machining software for the aerospace, automotive and turbo machinery industry, introduces enhanced lettering capabilities for multi-axis machining within NCL designed to achieve greater productivity.

Enhanced lettering capabilities

NCCS has enhanced its lettering capabilities to assist the user with developing detailed part programs, thereby making the process more efficient.

o Dozens of fonts have been added to the lettering capabilities of NCL, including cursive, script, double, and triple inscribed fonts.

o Lettering can now be labeled using the standard NCL naming conventions, be created from the NCL part program, and can be projected onto surfaces, giving users a more detailed and thorough part program.

o Superscript and subscript text is now supported along with the ability to set and modify the lettering attributes including font, color, size, etc.

o The interface has been enhanced to accept multiple-line lettering from a single form edit field.

According to David Schultz, NCCS' Manager of CAD/CAM Applications, "NCL's new features and capabilities help with 5-axis machining and are designed to achieve the highest quality in the shortest time. The enhanced lettering capability gives users more flexibility with producing efficient part programs".
