Selco Products Introduces T Series Thermostats Featuring 25-amp Capacity for Humid Environments
ORANGE, Calif - Sept. 13, 2002 - Selco Products Company has added the new T Series Automatic Reset Encapsulated Thermostats to its extensive line of thermal control products. Featuring a dry seal design for protection against moisture, dust, water, and oil, the new series is ideally suited for humid environments in the HVAC and refrigeration industries, particularly for freezer, refrigerator and air conditioner applications. The new series also features up to 25-amp capacity (Models T21 and T22) and can be used in a wide range of operating temperatures.
The T Series thermostats feature a fixed automatic reset bimetal disc to open at temperature ranges of -4° to 212° F (-20°C to 100°C). The thermostats are available in S.P.S.T. or S.P.D.T., depending on model, and are rated at 100,000 cycles with differentials from 15°F to 72° F. Available input voltages include 120VAC, 220VAC and 250VAC.
The new T Series also features #18 gauge wire (Models T16 and T17) or #14 gauge wire (Models T21 and T22) leads with six-inch lengths as standard. Custom lengths are available upon request. Other accessories include terminals, connectors, 3/8" and 1/2" pipe mount clips. The new thermostats are priced from $2.00 to $10.00, depending on production quantity.
