BOULDER, COLORADO (October 23, 2006) -- Emerson Process Management proudly delivered the company's 500,000th Micro Motion meter to Anheuser-Busch at a recent ceremony, marking the continued leadership of Micro Motion technology throughout the world.

This 500,000th Micro Motion meter was presented to Jeff Steinhart, Anheuser-Busch Vice President, Engineering by Tom Moser, president of Emerson's Micro Motion division, at the Anheuser-Busch corporate headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri. Tom Moser was joined at the presentation by Neal Ingram, Emerson's Micro Motion division vice president of sales and marketing.

"Since its beginning, Emerson's Micro Motion flowmeters have offered the most advanced Coriolis technology available," commented Tom Moser. "I am delighted to be able to deliver this 500,000th meter to Anheuser-Busch, a partner that truly ensures the best quality products for their customers around the world."

Receiving the 500,000th meter, Jeff Steinhart stated, "The cornerstone of Anheuser-Busch success is the ability to ensure quality time after time. Micro Motion Coriolis measurement accuracy and reliability are critical to helping us deliver only the best products."

Micro Motion Coriolis technology, with more than 1,000 patents, delivers to users the highest available accuracy to measure mass flow, volume flow, density and temperature for liquids, slurries and gases - all in a single device. From its pioneering introduction of Coriolis technology in 1977, Emerson continuously enhances Micro Motion products to offer customers the widest breadth of Coriolis solutions, the best performing Coriolis sensors, and greater transmitter flexibility than any other provider in the world. The half-million milestone comes at the same time as the launch of the company's next generation of enhanced Coriolis technology.

With more of its Micro Motion Coriolis meters installed throughout the world than all other brands combined, Emerson's leadership extends to its immense application expertise that helps users apply and commission the meters to increase process efficiency and profitability.

"The value that Micro Motion Coriolis technology delivers to customers is exceptional," Moser continued. "Our mission is to deliver the complete Coriolis flow measurement solution - technology, combined with expert global service and support that is simply not available anywhere else."

The innovative Micro Motion Coriolis flowmeters are a key component that powers Emerson Process Management's PlantWeb® digital plant architecture to proven savings of more than 30 percent of project costs, and greater than 2 percent operations savings.
