Crescent/Stonco Introduces New and Improved Emergency and Exit Sign Package
-New Modifications for the Eclipse Series Exit and Emergency Lighting Systems Include Contractor-Friendly Features-
UNION, NJ-August 13, 2004-Crescent/Stonco, a division of Genlyte, LLC, and a leading manufacturer of lighting products for both the industrial and commercial markets recently announced its enhanced Eclipse Series Exit and emergency Lighting Systems. The improved, contractor-friendly light emitting diode (LED) exit and emergency signs were created to increase visibility, improve occupant safety and reduce operating maintenance.
The Eclipse series offers several different models: the CPC Series LED Exit Sign and Emergency Lighting, CP Series LED Exit Sign and CEL Series Emergency Light, which all incorporate the same architectural design. In particular, the exit and emergency sign models feature lower profiles and fully adjustable lamp heads for pinpoint aiming. All exit and emergency signs are available in black or white housing with a matching canopy and are constructed of impact-resistant, scratchproof, corrosion-proof, UV-stable thermoplastic with a UL94-5VA flame rating.
The CPC Series LED Exit Sign and Emergency Lighting is a combination exit sign and emergency lighting system that provides maximum safety control. The CPC features fully adjustable heads that move from the top to the sides, ideal for when low-profile mounting is required. The unit is constructed of thermoplastic and combines high-output tungsten emergency lamps with energy saving LED exit illumination.
The low-profile CP Series LED Exit Sign employs a sturdy thermoplastic composite that resists impact, corrosion and abrasion. Its ultra high-efficiency LED technology increases operating life to 100,000 hours while improving illumination and offering energy-efficient operation. The maintenance-free, rechargeable sealed nickel cadmium battery provides 120 minutes of full LED light output illumination.
The CEL Series Emergency Light provides superior illumination using high-intensity wedge base tungsten lamps. The low profile model includes field adjustability using a track and swivel design. The modern looking housing is constructed of impact-resistant thermoplastic and can be top- or back-mounted.
All models from the Eclipse Series meet NFPA Life Safety Code 70 and 101, are UL listed and compliant with NED and OSHA requirements.

Eclipse exit and emergency lights include many contractor-friendly features like flexible mounting options, snap-together design and electrical quick-connect. They also feature a contemporary style with a clean, low profile soft contoured design. The thermoplastic stencil faces come with 6" letters, in red or green LED letter coloring, and provide bright, even illumination for enhanced visibility and safety. An extra stencil and color diffuser are included in all universal units.
