ADA-COMPLIANT EMERGENCY CALL SYSTEM
Jeron Electronic Systems, Inc., Chicago, IL introduces the Pro-Alert 450 Area of Rescue Assistance System. The Pro-Alert 450 is an interactive communication system between the caller and emergency response personnel, which ensures that the exact location of the caller is immediately recognized for safe evacuation. This ADA-compliant system is used in schools, hospitals, factories and office buildings to enable handicapped people to request assistance in the event of an emergency.
Pro-Alert 450 enables physically challenged people to activate an emergency signal from a designated area of rescue assistance by simply pressing a button for hands-free voice communication with emergency response personnel at the master annunciator. When a call for help is placed, a red light flashes rapidly and an alert tone sounds to assure the caller that a call was placed on the system. At the master annunciator, a high-intensity light flashes and an alert tone sounds to notify the emergency response personnel of a call.
The Pro-Alert 450 is available in audio-visual and tone-visual versions. The master annunciator is constructed of durable anodized aluminum with a striated finish and is available as an in-wall or desktop model. The supervised wiring system ensures dependability. This microprocessor-based wired system is expandable to monitor an unlimited number of zones or floors. Remote call stations are available in models constructed for or vandal-proof use with a choice of flush-mount or surface-mount.
