Acrosser Embedded pc104 Single Board Computer Takes Windows CE.net On Board
Acrosser.U.S.A today announced that Window CE.net image is bundled with Acrosser embedded system. Also FREE Windows Embedded OS support will be available for all Acrosser's embedded single board computers.

The AR-1551 is tightly designed 3.5" EBX CPU board with an onboard low power and fan less NS Geode 300Mhz processor. The NS Geode GX1 Integrated 2D Graphic Accelerator, supports CRT, Single-channel 18-bit LVDS Panels (up to 1280X1024). The onboard AC-97 Audio chip paired with the audio board provides microphone in, CD audio in, line-in and line-out capabilities. AR-B1551 has a build-in Realtek 8139C 10/100Base-Tx fast Ethernet port, 2 COM / 2 USB / 1 Parallel / 1 IrDA port. This gives customer various types of data transferring options. The onboard compact flash slot provides a highly reliable and cost effective storage solution in extreme shock, vibration, temperature and harsh environmental conditions. The AR-B1551 also has a stackable PC-104 expansion slot for extra PC-104 peripherals or analog/digital I/O devices. This board can operate without a fan at extended temperatures up to 600 C (1400 F) and typically consumes fewer than 12 Watts while supporting numerous peripherals.
