Original Press Release:
Lista International Introduces Newly Expanded Electronic Locking Solutions for Storage Cabinets at IMTS, Booth E2741
Lista International Corporation will introduce newly expanded electronic locking solutions for its drawer storage cabinets at the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS), September 8-15, 2004 in Chicago, IL, at booth E2741 in the Tooling & Workholding Systems Pavilion. Lista will demonstrate a software-based system called CRIBWARE® Sentinel, as well as a keypad locking system that allows the user to change access codes as needed without having to collect and reissue actual keys. Both solutions provide controlled, easy access to valuable tooling and work holding items stored in Lista cabinets and tool cribs.
CRIBWARE® Sentinel software, by Applied CIM Technologies, interfaces with Lista's e-Lock Electronic Locking System to control access to, and track inventory from, any of Lista's new or existing tool cribs.
By using CRIBWARE Sentinel software, cabinets can be unlocked for item issuing, returning, receiving, restocking and transferring, and re-locked to restrict access and increase security. Users scan the items to be removed using a bar code reader, and the CRIBWARE® Sentinel software tracks the material usage, automatically reordering when the stock runs low. Items are secure until needed, and are managed by the CRIBWARE® Sentinel system, streamlining the inventory management process.
Lista's pre-assembled, modular tool cribs offer safe and efficient storage of perishable tools. Configured with the most frequently ordered combinations of Lista storage cabinets, these tool cribs are ideal for storing drills, taps, reamers, fasteners, hand tools, and cutting tools.
Lista keypad locking system for keyless entry
Lista's keypad locking system can be used in any application requiring keyless entry to a Lista cabinet. Using a changeable password, the keypad prevents the security problem of multiple keys being issued, while eliminating the time and cost involved in replacing lost keys. The keypad system reduces shrinkage and protects valuable tooling and workholding items.
