Versatile Coding Switch uses Binary or Gray Codes

The ECBS electronic coding switch offers a versatile device where both binary and Gray codes are possible. In contrast to conventional devices, no contacts slide over the PCB of the ECBS ( wear-free operation is achieved via magnetic scanning ). Internal electronics evaluate the output signals allowing switch settings to be combined with the outputs to suit customer requirements. The ECBS is available with either 16, 24 or 32 divisions allowing it to be precisely adjusted to suite a variety of applications and can also be equipped with an adjustable limiter. Switch connections are conveniently made via a ribbon cable or plug-in connector.
