ROCKFORD, Ill. August 2, 2005 - Greenlee's new TK-30 basic electrical kit includes three core products that are a standard part of many electrical contractors' tool bags. The TK-30 kit includes the DM-20 manual ranging multimeter, the GT-11 non-contact voltage detector and the GT-10 polarity cube. All three Greenlee testers in the TK-30 kit meet the latest safety standards.
The DM-20 measures current of small electronic circuits (1.5 voltage) and checks 9-volt batteries. It also measures AC/DC voltage, DC amperage, and resistance measurement. There are built-in test leads, so there are no loose parts to lose and the rubber boot protects the meter from damage. The GT-11 is used to detect voltage in outlets, lighting fixtures, circuit breakers, wires and cables or to find a break in a wire. It provides safe, non-contact voltage detection and has a bright LED and audible alarm sound if voltage is present. The convenient pen-size device easily fits into pockets or tool pouches and the on/off switch helps preserve longer batter life. The GT-10 is used to trouble shoot 120V AC grounded outlets. It has a light sequence that indicates correct or incorrect wiring.
