BATTLE CREEK, MI - Two new color brochures are available from Burr Engineering & Development Company featuring the latest specifications for their popular HD-Series and their heavy duty A-Series electric linear actuators.
Burr HD-Series acme screw actuators are designed to handle moving loads up to 2500 lbs. and static loads to 5000 lbs. They are used in a wide range of applications including agricultural, construction and other off-road vehicles; also adjustable seat mechanisms, air control and venting equipment, satellite dish positioners, lift tables and personal handicap equipment. This product lineup features standard stroke lengths ranging from 4 to 48 inches, with three available gear ratios, 17:1, 25:1 and 55:1.
The A-Series actuators are Burr's most powerful systems for more demanding applications, with dynamic load capacities to 3000 lbs. and static loads to 5,000 lbs. Designed with either round 2.25 inch or square 2.5 inch tubing and featuring .75-6 acme screw, gear ratios are 34:1 or 110:1. Standard stroke lengths are 4 to 18 inches with longer lengths available.
All sizes of both lines can be specified with 12, 24 or 36 volt DC and 110 or 220 volt AC. Torque limiters are factory set; limit switches for end-of-stroke operation are optional. All Burr actuators feature die-cast aluminum powerheads and zinc-plated inner and outer tubes. They replace most other brands, and use existing Burr optional fittings and accessories.
