EIA Connectors 7/8" and 1-5/8" Available
A complete series of EIA connectors that are now offered in two sizes as plugs, jacks, receptacles, and adapters for use with multiple coaxial cables has been introduced by TRU Corporation of Peabody, Massachusetts.
TRU EIA Connectors are now offered in 7/8" and 1-5/8" sizes that fit on flexible coaxial cables from 0.5" to 1.2" O.D. Featuring silver plated beryllium-copper inner conductors, with Teflon® dielectrics, and nickel- or silver plated bodies, these high power connectors can be supplied as straight and right angle plugs, receptacles, and jacks.
Available separately or as finished cable assemblies, TRU EIA Connectors operate at frequencies from dc to 3,000 MHz, with a peak power rating of 132 kW, average power rating of 35 kW @13.56 MHz, an 11 kV dc voltage rating, and exhibit 50 ohm impedance and 1.15 VSWR.
