Carbidie Introduces New Line of Tungsten Carbide Rectangular EDM Blanks



IRWIN, PA, November 14, 2002 -- Carbidie announces the availability of off-the-shelf, tungsten carbide, rectangular EDM blanks. These blanks are produced using sub-micron grade CD-EDM650 with a 15% cobalt binder. Each blank is Sinter-Hip processed and stress-relieved for EDM machining.

Thirty-six blank sizes (4.000" x 4.000"), ranging in thickness from 0.070" to .405" in 20 thousandths of an inch increments, from .4200" to .780" in 40 thousandths increments and .815", .855", .935", 1.030", 1.285", 1.535", 1.785" and 2.035", are now stocked and can be shipped the same day.
