Binary Tree's E2E Complete Now Includes Bi-Directional Synchronization Between Active Directory Forests

NEWARK, N.J. -- Binary Tree, a leading provider of software solutions for migrating to Microsoft Exchange and Office 365, announced today a critical enhancement to its E2E Complete software which enables bi-directional synchronization between Active Directory (AD) forests. The new AD-to-AD synchronization functionality will be available to all E2E Complete customers starting today. E2E Complete is a full-featured software solution for any Exchange-to-Exchange migration scenario. In addition to supporting cross-forest (inter-organization) Exchange migrations, including the migration of public folders, it also supports migrations to Microsoft Office 365, as well as intra-organization Exchange upgrades.

"The new AD-to-AD sync functionality will enable directory information to be shared between users in separate organizations during cross-forest Exchange migration projects as well as during email integration initiatives for mergers and acquisitions," stated Vadim Gringolts, CTO of Binary Tree. "Microsoft Outlook users will now enjoy an even more seamless transition between Exchange organizations."

The new AD-to-AD synchronization functionality provides for the bi-directional synchronization of all mail-enabled AD objects: users, contacts, distribution lists and their members, and rooms and resources. Mail-enabled objects can be synchronized as contacts, as mail-enabled users, or as disabled mail-enabled users; Groups can be synchronized as Groups or as mail-enabled objects. In addition, administrators are able to exclude groups and members from being synchronized and are given options to resolve group and member conflicts by skipping the group, by renaming with a configured prefix or suffix, or by merging the contacts of the source into the matched target group so that all members in both groups are in the target environment.

This functionality will soon become part of the next version of Binary Tree's CMT for Coexistence software, which is Binary Tree's acclaimed software for establishing robust email integration between environments based on Lotus Notes/Domino, Microsoft Exchange Server and Exchange Online in Office 365.
