High-Performance, Non-Contact Displacement Measurement System Released

Colorado Springs, CO USA, July 1, 2003

Lion Precision's Inductive Division announces the release of their latest eddy current measurement system, the ECA100. The ECA100 driver, which works with the entire range of Lion Precision Inductive probes, provides a repeatable, high-resolution analog output voltage and a built in switched set-point output which is user adjustable over the entire measurement range.

Easy installation and setup are achieved with a unique, multi-color LED probe position indicator. The driver's small, shielded enclosure is DIN rail mountable with screw terminal connections.

Applications requiring a lower cost solution for repeatable position control are ideal for the ECA100. It also works well in OEM and R&D applications where the nonlinear output is corrected for precise location measurement over the entire range. It is available with Lion Precision's entire line of standard and custom inductive probes, and is suitable for both ferrous and nonferrous targets.

Specifications (based on 4140 target):

Range: Probe Dependent

Frequency Response: 10kHz
