Econolite Partners with Clean Slate Group for Traffic Signal Cabinet Beautification Program

Agreement provides cost-effective customizable anti-graffiti vinyl cabinet wraps
ANAHEIM, Calif., – Econolite today announced it has partnered with Clean Slate Group (Bozeman, MT) to provide customizable anti-graffiti vinyl wraps for traffic cabinets in support of beautification and anti-graffiti programs. The proprietary vinyl film used for the wraps can significantly reduce city costs associated with removing graffiti vandalism. The fade-resistant film also reduces maintenance costs by eliminating re-painting services.
“Many cities throughout the U.S. have implemented long-term beautification programs that address a wide range of public enhancements and improvements, including anti-graffiti measures,” said Econolite Group VP of Marketing Persephone Oliver. “Under this partnership with Clean Slate Group, Econolite will support this initiative by providing custom wraps with high-definition graphics as an option to its entire line of traffic cabinets and battery backup system enclosures. In addition, the custom wrapped cabinets provide cities with a previously underutilized communications medium.”
The anti-graffiti wraps are ideal for supporting beautification programs that include new and updated signage and use of artwork; updated intersections and street lighting; and amenities such as new bus stops, utility boxes, and traffic cabinets which can now feature new artwork with little to no maintenance.
The vinyl wraps are chemical and UV-resistant and only require simple cleaners to remove spray paint, adhesives, and markers. The custom wraps can feature any City-approved art such as city branding, local/regional artwork, and historical imagery. The wraps can also be changed out to address new campaigns.
Econolite traffic cabinet wraps are available immediately to any DOT agency. Econolite is also offering retrofit services, so that the wraps can be applied to traffic cabinets already installed in the field.
