Fiserv Launches New Provider-Based Product Offering

P2P Direct further simplifies provider services portfolio

Brookfield, Wis., February 12, 2008 - National workers' compensation e-transaction leader P2P Link, a business unit of Fiserv, Inc (NASDAQ: FISV), has announced the release of P2P Direct, a new product specifically tailored to the workers'
compensation medical provider marketplace.

P2P Direct responds to smaller medical providers' need for a fast track, efficient way to take advantage of P2P Link's electronic transaction processing hub. Providers can enter bills through the P2P Link website and upload the necessary attachments to ensure the quick, secure processing of workers' compensation bills. These bills are then validated within the P2P Link transaction processing hub and electronically transmitted to the workers' compensation payers.

"P2P Direct is ahead of any other clearinghouses that process Texas Workers' Comp bills" said Jena Culver with West Texas Orthopedics, "The support provided by the P2P Link team goes above and beyond. Other eBill services do not have the capabilities and do not measure up to P2P Link."

P2P Link has become widely recognized as the preeminent solution for secure, Internet-based Workers' Compensation e-Billing and proactive compliance tools that reduce costs as well as decrease administrative inefficiencies by increasing workflow productivity. This is particularly important in states such as Texas (and soon to be California), where emerging compliance issues have set the stage for additional reforms around the country. Through a collection of industry-first solutions, P2P Link provides essential connectivity between workers' compensation payers and medical providers.

"These are essential tools that have long been needed, particularly for smaller medical providers. These products put them on an even playing field with larger providers, allowing them to access the full suite of on-line tools and enjoy the benefits of electronic bill processing for smaller bill volumes," said Jewels Merckling, assistant vice president, Provider Development, P2P Link.

A simple two-step enrollment process allows providers to quickly join the P2P Link network and begin using the hub for bill entry and attachments. Once assigned a user ID, a message is sent in real time to the P2P Link Provider Enrollment team, which connects with them immediately to begin the implementation process.

Since all provider practices are different, P2P Link continues to develop alternative e-billing solutions allowing all providers to access electronic connectivity with the payer community. Benefits include immediate access to privileged communications,
including compliance updates and immediate notification of new P2P Link payers, their particular billing and payment protocols.
