New DVR Supports Up to Four Client Users Simultaneously.

Chatsworth, CA (January 3, 2007) - Sanyo continues to expand its line of digital recording solutions and networked system solutions with the introduction of the
DSR-2004Hxxx. The new DVR incorporates an impressive selection of features such as multi-client accessibility for multi-users and access capabilities with triplex function for simultaneous recording, playback and monitoring. Additional key features include MPEG-4 recording, up to 500GB storage capacity and built-in motion detection.

The unit offers MPEG-4 recording to provide high quality images with a low bit rate for optimal network transmission and storage capability with a recording rate up to 120 ips at 360 x 240 per channel and the ability to adjust the recording rate of individual cameras from 1 to 30 ips. Built-in motion detection enables alarm recording, while live capture allows JPEG still image output of live images. The DSR-2004Hxxx also features triplex function to simultaneously record, play back and monitor live camera images via the network. The DSR-2004 also has the ability to search recorded data by event, time/date or time line.

The DSR-2004Hxxx provides PTZ telemetry control of Sanyo and several manufacturers' cameras. An IR remote is also included to provide remote operation of up to 9 DVRs. The DSR-2004Hxxx supports composite and VGA monitor outputs, with easy backup of BMP or JPEG still images and AVI files using a USB memory stick.
