Original Press Release:
New Bosch Divar-Easy DVR Provides Cost-Effective Solutions for Standalone and Small-Scale Systems
o Easy, centralized control of live and recorded video
o Extremely easy set up; user-friendly solutions include PC-application software
o Other benefits include legally-accepted recordings and three year warranty
The latest surveillance solution from Bosch brings the benefits of digital CCTV to standalone and small-scale installations. The Divar-Easy digital versatile recorder family builds on the success of Bosch's popular Divar range, while focusing on the needs of smaller security systems. Very easy to set up and use, Divar-Easy provides a centralized control center with all the functionality needed to manage live and recorded video.
A range of models includes options for handling images from 6, 9 or 16 cameras, as well as a built-in DVD writer. Standard features include extensive alarm facilities and telemetry control, instant replay and Kalagate-approved recording. Kalagate approval offers the reassuring benefit of legally-accepted, tamper-proof video - a key asset not usually found in DVRs within this price range.
Right from the start, the easy-to-use functionality of Divar-Easy is evident. The Quick Install menu effortlessly guides the user through a variety of choices for language, time zone, recording profiles, alarm responses and other settings. Recording begins as soon as the unit is connected and switched on. Video events can be archived on standard low-cost, high-capacity DVDs or CDs, using either the optional built-in DVD writer or a PC equipped with a DVD writer.
The single array of buttons along the neatly designed front panel makes operating the Divar-Easy simple and logical. These controls provide monitoring and recording options along with extra handy functions including 'Help', 'Search' and 'Instant Replay'. The operator can choose between full-screen or multi-screen displays, view live video feed or search for and play back specific events. For even greater convenience, these functions can also be accessed remotely from a PC using a web browser. Moreover, connecting a Bosch IntuiKey keyboard or a PC to the Divar Easy offers additional control possibilities, such as remote control of connected cameras.
Divar-Easy comes complete with intuitive PC-application software. Installing the Control Center on a PC enables live viewing, playback and system configuration over a network. The Control Center also offers simultaneous control of multiple Divar-Easy units by two users. Accessed from the Control Center, the Configuration Tool offers a quick, simple way to view, change, load and export the units' settings.
