Duplo USA Debuts Series of New Products at Graph Expo 2007
DUPLO USA DEBUTS A SERIES OF NEW PRODUCTS AND DEMONSTRATES A RANGE OF INNOVATIVE FINISHING AND DUPLICATING SOLUTIONS AT GRAPH EXPO 2007
Santa Ana, CA: September 9th 2007) Graph Expo 2007 is the platform for a series of key product debuts for Duplo USA, with the first showing of its DSF-5000 high speed Document Sheet Feeder, the DC-445 Creaser, the DB-280 Perfect Binder and the fully automatic Ultra 205A UV Coater. Also being debuted at Graph Expo is the Duplo DP-C115 Desktop Duplicator, the latest addition to its range of digital printing systems.
Duplo USA will also demonstrate on its booth #3822 at Graph Expo, a range of innovative and versatile print finishing solutions catering for all aspects of the traditional offset and digital markets as well as its latest high end digital printing systems.
In addition, visitors can also see Duplo's slit, cut, crease near-line bookletmaking system and its top of the line DC-645 Production Color Finishers linked into live workflow demonstrations on a number of partners stands; Canon, HP, Objective Advantage and Xerox.
DSF-5000 High Speed Document Sheet Feeder
Duplo is debuting its DSF-5000 modular high speed Document Sheet Feeder, designed with a number of enhanced benefits to give greater productivity for near-line finishing and bookletmaking solutions. The DSF-5000 can support the printed output of multiple printers without compromising print production and offers high speed, reliable feeding of a variety of substrates with an ultrasonic double detector for improved accuracy and reduced waste. In addition, its Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) and barcode readers supporting both one and 2D Datamatrix barcodes offers greater versatility in handling variable and personalized print finishing.
DC-445 Creaser & DC-615 Digital Color Document Finisher
The Duplo DC-445 Creaser is the latest addition to Duplo's range of digital color document finishers, and will be shown for the first time at Graph Expo.
The DC-445 is a fully automatic creasing solution which can process up to 15 creases in one single pass at speeds of up to 50 sheets per minute, and handles a range of substrates. The DC-445 comprises a number of standard features including a simple adjustable creasing depth, extended feed and receiving trays and user-friendly LCD. Optional modules include an Air Knife, Ultrasonic Double Detection Sensor as well as Center Slitters and Perforator Wheels.
Also on display will be the DC-615 multi-functional solution which combines the functions of slitting, cutting and creasing digitally printed sheets in one single pass. Designed for shorter run digital color print, the DC-615 can handle a range of paper types and sizes and delivers accurate, professional and efficient output with minimum operator intervention.
Duplo's top of the line DC-645 Slitter/Cutter/Creaser for high volume digital print finishing is also on display as part of a series of live JDF workflows on the HP, Objective Advantage and Canon booths.
Binding & Folding
At Graph Expo, Duplo will be debuting its new DB-280 professional desktop Perfect Binder, as well as showing its DT-900 Tabber in-line with the DF-1000 Air-Suction Folder.
The new single-operator, user-friendly designed DB-280 Perfect Binder delivers automated binding at speeds of up to 200 books per hour and is specifically suited to short-run and on-demand print finishing applications. Additional features to the new DB-280 include a second glue drum for improved glue penetration, case and strip binding facilities and dust removal as standard.
Digital Printing
From its range of Digital Printing Systems, Duplo is debuting the DP-C115 desktop Duplicator, which will be on display alongside two higher end, higher definition imaging models, the DP-S550 and the DP-S850.
The DP-C115 is extremely economical, and capable of duplicating up to 130 high quality pages per minute. With a built-in automatic document feeder with a 500 sheet capacity and a resolution of 300x300 dpi, the new desktop model is ideally suited to all-around duplication of text rich documents or image printing. In addition, multiple colors can be achieved by simply changing the ink color via the cylinder unit exchange.
Complementing its new desktop duplicator, Duplo is also showing its two high end models from the DP-S range, which deliver high quality halftones and solids; the DP-S550 with resolutions of 300 x 600 dpi and the DP-S850 model offering a resolution of 600 x 600 dpi.
Other products on the Duplo booth #3822 include the unveiling of the fully automatic Ultra 205A UV Coater, a new advanced coater featuring a patented, automated system for even coating, self-cleaning system and intuitive touch screen LCD, and a UJ-500AS Anti-Static Air Jogger.
