Rexnord Announces DTS® - Comb System for MatTop® Chains

GRAFTON, Wisconsin-November 5, 2004...Rexnord Industries, Inc. has introduced a new self-clearing 90° transfer for warmers, coolers, pasteurizers accumulation tables that use Rex® 5997 or 4707 and 7705-DTS MatTop Chains. Designated the DTS-C System, the new product combines the benefits of a comb transfer with the self-clearing capabilities of a DTS (Dynamic Transfer System) chain. Unlike other systems, it provides continuous product flow to and from a raised rib chain. Because it has greater stiffness than most finger transfer plates, it supports the 7705 DTS chain and minimizes product tipping. Transfers are smooth and problem-free because the discharge and DTS chains are supported by the same wearstrip. Other features include comb teeth that extend below the surface to help the combs move from side to side as temperatures change. To assist in incorporating the DTS-C chain into new or existing equipment, Rexnord offers a design manual.
