DSP Development Board is designed as daughter card.

Press Release Summary:

Model DES6713 evaluation board is based on TMS320C6713GDP225 floating-point DSP, running at frequency of 225 MHz and operating at up to 1,800 MIPS. Emulation board is dual-layer PCB that uses independent power supply for A/D sampling, minimizing EMI to computing unit. Device provides code for testing CCS, PWM, ADC, SPI, SCI, CAN communication, FFT, DC brush/brushless and AC motor, SPWM, and SVOWM. Source of power supply is selectable.

Original Press Release:

TI Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Development Board

Toronto, Canada - GAO Embedded (GAOEmebedded.com) has launched its latest TI DSP evaluation development board which is designed as a daughter card and can be integrated in a user's system easily and directly. This emulation board is well suited for applications such as study, scientific research, experimentation and product development.

This evaluation board, model DES6713, is based on a high performance, floating-point DSP-the TMS320C6713GDP225 - running at a frequency of 225MHz and operating at up to 1800MIPS. The board is a dual-layer PCB and thus avoids a complicated multi-layer design for BGA package DSP systems. The use of an independent power supply for A/D sampling significantly reduces the Electro-magnetic interference (EMI) to computing unit. The source of power supply can be selected. This evaluation board provides testing code for testing CCS, PWM, ADC, SPI, SCI, CAN communication, FFT, DC brush/brushless motor and AC motor SPWM and SVOWM.
