Dampened Movement Option Available for Rugged Multi-Purpose Gauge

FEASTERVILLE, PA -- -- AMETEK U.S. Gauge offers the SOLFRUNT® Model 1981 Advantage providing users with a dampened movement option that has many of the benefits of a liquid-filled gauge without the need to periodically fill or replace the liquid. The SOLFRUNT Advantage incorporates a unique self-contained movement dampening capsule that minimizes the effects of shock and vibration in demanding applications.

Both the SOLFRUNT Model 1981 Advantage and the Model 1981, which is available both dry and liquid-filled, are 4-1/2-inch process pressure gauges with all 316L stainless steel wetted surfaces and a seamless bourdon tube design. Both models have a PET turret-style case that provides superior impact strength and resistance to a broad range of chemicals for chemical and petrochemical processing applications.

The Model 1981 and 1981 Advantage gauges are supplied in 30 vacuum, compound and pressure ranges from 30-inches hg vacuum through 11,600 psi. The Model 1981 can be liquid filled at the factory, by a local stocking distributor, or by using a liquid fill kit. Its low-connected turret case can be easily filled using the appropriate conversion kit. Its E-Z Fill design allows for field filling without special tools. Span adjustments on both models can be accomplished from the rear of the case without disturbing the gauge internals. Pointer adjustments are easily made by removing a ring and window.
