World DLA Launches World's First

BUFFALO, New York, January 23/ -- World DLA, a leading edge provider of endpoint authentification solutions, announced today, from its head office in Buffalo, New York, that the firm has successfully launched the world's first "real time" driver's license validation service.

The unique patent pending solid and secure technology helps serve clients at their place of business, permitting them to determine immediately at the point of sale, or at the point of request, whether a driver's license is valid or not. Until now, there has not been a commercially viable method to validate drivers' licenses in "real time". In response to specific government needs, World DLA is actively pursuing the technological means to incorporate citizenship information into drivers' licenses via magnetic stripes.

"World DLA's patent pending technology has been developed/commercialized on a 'state of the art' Application Program Interface (API). The telecommunication based data delivery service responds quickly, accurately and inexpensively to user enquiries," said Paul Simpson, Vice President of World DLA.

A driver's license can be swiped on an existing card reader terminal or keyed in via a computer.

The field is populated with driver's license data and sent for review.

The information transmitted back to endpoint users will display whether or not the license is currently valid or not valid.

"We are very excited to launch this unique technical solution for solving identity theft and fraud problems into the U.S. market.", said Simpson.

U.S. governmental security agencies, car rental agencies, new and used automotive/truck dealerships, taxi, limousine, courier services and trucking service firms are expected to use the service in the months ahead.

World DLA charges a fee of $2.00 per enquiry, while other driver's license verification services charge up to $15.00 per enquiry and could take one or more days to obtain key driver information, World DLA can provide the basic "yes" or "no" validation answer in just seconds.

The insurance industry is expected to welcome this new, fast and effective fraud prevention service and is planning to endorse the product.
