Bipolar Chopping Driver Offers 1/16 Microstepping

Nippon Pulse America, Inc., Radford, VA - (October 13, 2006) Nippon Pulse America introduces their new bipolar chopping driver board, the NPAD10BF. The NPAD10BF can offer up to 1/16 microstepping, and offers an input voltage range from 12 to 30 Vdc. With an output current up to 1.2 A/phase (peak), the NPAD10BF driver board is capable of driving two-phase stepping motors.

The NPAD10BF driver board is small, measuring just 41.3 mm x 43.74 mm at its widest points, and includes both an automatic current reduction function and a reset for sequence and disable. The NPAD10BF offers isolated input signals - pulse, direction, enable, and reset. The NPAD10BF has mounting holes that give the option for it to be mounted onto the back of a NEMA Size 17 motor. The NPAD10BF works especially well with Nippon Pulse America_s PF/PFC series (tin-can stepping motors), PFCL series (linear stepping motors), and PJB/PR series (hybrid stepping motors).

The NPAD10BF is available at a very low cost.

Nippon Pulse America, Inc. is the wholly owned American subsidiary of Nippon Pulse Motor Co., Ltd. Nippon Pulse offers various controllers (boards and chips), drivers (boards and chips), and motors (tin-can, hybrid and linear servo) to cover almost any motion application.
