Clausing/Ibarmia Series B Column Drilling Machines Engineered for Heavy Workpieces
Clausing/Ibarmia Series B Column Geared Head Drilling Machine is engineered to handle heavy workpieces. The machines are available in six different sizes with a range of capacities from 1.38" to 2.75" in steel. All machines have hardened and ground high quality steel gears and automatic gear box lubrication for mechanical reliability. The proportioned structures ensure great strength and stability. An electromagnetic clutch provides precise automatic feed control that can be activated from any of the four white push buttons built into the end of the feed crank handles. Additional features include automatic tool ejector, front-mounted speed selection for up to 12 speed ranges, front-mounted handwheel for fine feed work, depth scale and adjustable depth stop and a large rotating table with three T-slots. "RS" Models feature an automatic feed reversing system for tapping.
Optional equipment for the Clausing/Ibarmia Series B machines include a rotating table and tilting support, automatic pitch control tapping with single speed brake motor and with pneumatic rapid approach, master guide spindle and nut set for automatic pitch control tapping, pneumatic counterbalance, 50% lower feed range, mechanical spotface device, and a union, dragging cone, assembly, a guide rod for a multi-spindle head and a cross slide table.
