New drill/driver boasts half the weight of NiMH or NiCd drills with superior performance
Mt. Prospect, Ill., August 28, 2006 - The new Skil 2410 Lithium Ion drill/driver combines a surprisingly small size and weight with amazing power guaranteed to dazzle even the most skeptical users. While this compact drill weighs in at just 1.7 pounds, its power and performance equal that of traditionally much bulkier and heavier cordless NiCd drill/drivers. All this, thanks to a Lithium Ion battery paired with a series of innovative and state-of-the-art features.
The lightweight, compact design on the 2410 drill/driver gives DIYers an easy-to-handle drill with the capacity to tackle serious work. The tool gets the job done with ease when tackling such projects as building a small deck, assembling cabinetry, putting up drywall or replacing window shutters.
