Pentalift Equipment Corporation Introduces New Series of Double Scissor Lift Tables

June 2003 - Designed and engineered to suit applications requiring a high travel/lift of smaller platform tables, Pentalift Equipment Corporation, Buffalo NY announces its new 7DSL Series Lift Table. Because of its much smaller footprint, the 7DSL is said to be ideal for improving safety of workers by reducing heavy lifting, bending and awkward, fatigue-producing postures while working in:

  • assembly work cells where space is limited;
  • motor and engine repairing or servicing;
  • lifting in manufacturing such as furniture, printing and packaging;
  • welding and soldering stations;
  • testing areas; and
  • any operation where lifting is required in a congested work space.

    According to Pentalift the 7DSL Lift Table is available in 500-lb. and 1,000-lb. capacities with platform sizes ranging from 12" x 24" to 48" x 60". Standard vertical lift is 36", from a 7" low height to 43".

    The manufacturer states that important construction features of the new lift table include: solid steel scissor legs which assure strength and rigidity; chrome pins with "lubricated-for-life" maintenance-free bearings at all pivot points; a smooth steel platform; top and bottom leg roller retainers to maintain structural integrity throughout the full operating range; cross bracing between scissor legs to prevent platform sway; and straight toe guards which permit surface mounting of the lift table.

    Pre-wired motor controls and operator push buttons conform to NEMA 12. Available options include a hydraulic velocity fuse to protect against freefall, a foot pedal control for remote operation, and an accordion bellows to protect against pinch points during operation and to eliminate debris entry.
