Seco-Larm Announces New Black/White and Color Dome Cameras for Discrete Video Security
IRVINE, CALIF., Sept. 17, 2002 - SECO-LARM U.S.A, Inc. today
unveiled black/white and color dome cameras, the latest in
its fast-expanding range of CCTV cameras and related products.
The miniature dome cameras, with a diameter of only 3.5 inches and a smoked glass appearance, were designed for security applications which require an attractive yet inconspicuous look.
The EV-1223B12 camera features a Sharp 1/3-inch CCD element
for 400 TV lines at a resolution of 512 x 492 pixels for EIA-standard video systems. A similar model, the EV-1253B12, based on CCIR standards, has a resolution of 500 x 582 pixels. Both include an F3.6mm lens, and work with low lux illumination.
For color cameras, the EV-1224C12, with its Panasonic 1/4-inch CCD element, offers 330 TV lines at a resolution of 510 x 492 pixels for NTSC video systems. The EV-1264C12, aimed at PAL-standard systems, is similar, but has a 500 x 582 pixel resolution. For both models, the included F3.6mm lens works with low lux illumination.
All the new cameras have a 75-ohm composite video output, a
gamma correction of 0.45, and shutter speed of up to 1/100,000 of a second. They operate on 12VDC, and have a current consumption of only 1.6W (black/white) or 1.5W (color). Total weight, regardless of model, is 4.2 oz.
