PLAINVIEW, NY, SEPTEMBER 28, 2004- The new ELMO QD4001 is a rugged, low light DSP color camera with a 1.7 mm fixed wide-angle lens. It is designed for use in elevators, ATM vestibules, toll booths, apartment entry areas in housing developments and other areas requiring a wide angle of coverage. The camera has a built-in occupancy sensor (a passive infrared detector) for additional security. A ballistic-proof polycarbonate dome and die-cast aluminum housing provide high-impact protection for this high-performance camera.
The QD4001 employs a ¼" color interline-transfer CCD in an advanced DSP circuit to provide high resolution of 480TVL (H) and a S/N of 48dB.The camera delivers sharp, color-accurate images. Minimum illumination required is 10 lux. Auto white balance and backlight control enhance performance under widely varying light conditions. It has selectable LED indicators. Easy to operate and install, it is powered by 12VDC.
