Rite-Hite Introduces the Frommelt Eliminator - GapMaster II Dock Shelter

Combination of Innovative Design, Technology Provides Exceptional Sealing Efficiency, Durability, and Flexibility

Milwaukee - January 19, 2005 - Rite-Hite's new Eliminator(TM) - GapMaster II(TM) dock shelter by Frommelt sets new industry standards for durability and energy savings, and, with its new slim profile design, will fit almost anywhere.

The Eliminator - GapMaster II helps building owners achieve maximum energy savings at the dock. Integral GapMaster hooks on the shelter side curtains wrap around the edges of open swing-out trailer doors as the trailer backs in. These hinge gaps create about 2.5 square feet of open space that is left unsealed by ordinary shelters. In addition to preventing expensive loss of heating and cooling energy, the gap-sealing hooks help prevent dust and insect infiltration and increase employee comfort by preventing cold air infiltration.

Made of rugged, thermal formed polyethylene, the GapMaster hooks hold up in tough loading environments and are available in sizes to fit both standard refrigerated trailer doors. Hook profile is very thin, so full access to wide loads on the trailer is maintained.

The new Eliminator-GapMaster II's fully impactable side frames can take repeated hits from off-center trailers without damage. Made of a durable foam core surrounded by a flexible polyethylene sheet and rugged outer fabric, the side frames can be compressed entirely to the dock bumpers and return to their original shape and appearance. Costly repair/replacement associated with traditional dock shelters is eliminated.

The Eliminator - GapMaster II also has new, slim profile side frames just 6 inches wide, creating a narrow 11' 2" footprint and making it possible to fit a fully featured soft-sided shelter into very tight dock situations. Users can also benefit by eliminating the need for costly repositioning of external dock fixtures (e.g., vehicle restraint lights, signs, electrical conduit).

Other exclusive features of the Eliminator - GapMaster II include:

o Easily removeable/reattachable side curtains that allow quick and simple replacement of side curtains if needed for maintenance, to adjust to changing trailer traffic, or to increase ventilation on the dock.

o A self-supporting, pivoting fabric canopy header that reduces the risk of damage from trailers backing off center and higher than expected.

o Optional Firefighter protection in the head curtain, to prevent burn damage from hot trailer marker lights

o Available Durathon fabric, industry's only high strength, friction-resistant fabric for improved wear and tear.

As the industry leader in innovation and quality, all Frommelt products are backed by Best-in-Class service and support. The Eliminator - GapMaster II shelters are back by a three-year, money-back customer satisfaction guarantee when ordered with premium Frommelt fabrics.
