Plug in Distribution Boxes
The new plug in distribution box from Norstat, Inc. lets you clean up cabling confusion as well as expedite cable routing, replacement and maintenance chores. These 4, 6 or 8 position distribution boxes offer common ground as well as negative and positive wires to further reduce wiring labor and multiple inputs or outputs can be realized from one box with one cable. Two versions are available; 4 pin with one wire to each connector or 5 pin with two wires to each connector, which allows use with N/C and N/O switches. The main cable is offered pre-wired or it can be connected on-site with screw terminals or connectors. LED indication and labels at the box and on the connector are available for simplified diagnostics. Not limited by single application status these distribution boxes also accept other input and/or connections with limit switches or photo-optic sensors. Box construction is of heavy-duty plastic, has an IP rating of 67 and can perform in temperatures from -20° to +90° C.
