Honeywell Introduces Experion PKS, Next Generation Process Knowledge System Driven for Results
PHOENIX, Arizona, April 8, 2002 -- Honeywell [NYSE:HON] Industry Solutions today introduced Experion PKS(TM), a revolutionary system approach to comprehensive business, process and asset management that embeds three decades of Honeywell industrial expertise into a unified, robust Process Knowledge System(TM) architecture.
The Experion PKS system is used in industrial plants and mills to integrate, control and monitor complex processes in many types of industrial settings, including refineries, pharmaceuticals, power and chemical plants, and pulp, paper and printing mills.

Distributed Control features provided by Experion PKS include a complete continuous, logic, sequential, and drive object-oriented control environment hosted on fully redundant controllers.
