Anti-Reflective Display Filter for Flat Panel Displays Used Outdoors or in High Ambient Light
Silver Cloud's DURALAN II(TM) display filters with A/R were developed for flat panel displays that are used in high ambient light environments. These filters provide excellent features for use in environments when sunlight or ambient light can create a glare. Ideal for use with laptop computers and portable hand-held devices that are frequently used outdoors where readability in sunlight is important, DURALAN II filters help improve light transmission and enhance contrast. Filters can be designed to include EMI/RFI shielding and ESD protection, making them a good choice for mobile medical systems and other sensitive analytical devices.
Anti-reflective filters can be combined with other DURALAN II filter features to meet a variety of custom requirements. Filters for the smallest to the largest commercial displays are available, in thicknesses from .020" to .250" and sizes up to 22" x 44". The ability to incorporate multicolor logos, masks, and other artwork designs into DURALAN II filter products provides users with an aesthetically pleasing, easy-to-maintain display filter.
