Sub-Sea Displacement Sensor


The new Model SSA (AC/AC) and Model SSD (DC) from Sensotec are submersible LVDT displacement sensors designed to operate continually for up to 10 years in sea water at depths up to 7500 ft.

The SS Series is available in ranges from ± 0.5" to ± 4" and has applications in demanding applications such as offshore drilling operations, sub-sea well heads, and also in high pressure industrial autoclaves. The all-welded 316 stainless steel construction and waterproof cable and connector allows use in the most rugged conditions. With operating temperatures from -40° to 122°F and the capability of withstanding pressure of up to 3500 psi, the sub-sea SS series performs reliably in all applications.
