Liquid Control Introduces a Dispensit® Bench-Top Dispense Station

North Canton, OH- Liquid Control, a leading manufacturer of bench-top dispense stations and single component positive displacement dispense valves, introduces their new semi-automatic Dispensit® 490-Z bench-top dispensing workstation. The 490-Z was initially developed as a low-cost workstation for low- to moderate- volume bench-top dispensing applications required for multi-tasking/cellular manufacturing processes.

The compact, conveniently sized 490-Z features a custom designed parts nest and accepts a wide variety of single- and plural- component dispense valves. The 490-Z has a footprint of just 16 inches wide by 16 inches deep and stands only 17 inches high. The station requires 120/1/50-60 electrical and minimum 70-psi compressed air to operate and comes equipped with:
o Pneumatic Z Lift
o Dovetailed Tooling Plate
o Parts Nest
o Dispensit Dispense Valve
o Material Supply System
o Controller with Anti-Tie Down Cycle Start

To operate the 490-Z, an operator places a part in the nest and initiates the dispense cycle by depressing the dual anti-tie down cycle start buttons. The pneumatic Z extends to lower the dispense valve to a preset height above the substrate. Once in position, the dispense valve deposits the correct amount of material in the exact location. After the dispense valve completes its cycle, the Z retracts and the operator removes the part. The Dispensit 490-Z workstation offers flexibility and can accommodate a wide variety of applications including lubricating, potting, filling, sealing and bonding.
