Direct Loader Packs Up to 240 Bags Per Minute and Features Changeovers in Less than 7 Minutes
(July 9, 2003 - Reedley, CA) - Known for its patented impeller system, flexible pack-patterns and versatile loading sequences, SWF's DL 100 direct loader is the perfect automation solution for flat case or tray packing of flexible bags.
The DL 100's patented impeller system is the primary key to packing up to 240 bags per minute, while the product catcher/flap opener is an integral part in placing bags of product gently, yet swiftly into the desired case or tray. The servo driven impellers also produce continuous motion, therefore eliminating return time and enhancing packing speed.
Accommodating pack patterns from 1 to 2 bags wide, 1 to 10 layers deep and up to 4 bags long, the compact DL 100 features a versatile loading sequence which allows filled cases to be discharged in any one of three directions and product changeovers can be done in less than 7 minutes.
Standard features include stainless steel construction, touch screen control, electro-mechanical operation, polycarbonate interlocked guard package, automatic case positioner (for pre-erected cases or trays), and case load station settler (adjustable vibration for case settling).
Available options include bag shingling, 90 degree bag turn conveyor, broken bag detector, product settling conveyor, built-in case erector (with or without bottom seal), line integration, and additional options upon request.
