Humphrey Adds 318/418 Series Valves to Its 300/400 Product Line
Humphrey Products Company has introduced the 318/418 Series Direct-Acting solenoid valves as an addition to the company's 300/400 Series product line. The new valves offer a high 0.8Cv flow rate in a narrow 22mm body that can be mounted on Humphrey's High Density, Low Profile manifold in either N.O. or N.C. position. As with all 300/400 Series valves, the new 318/418 Series valves are available with a range of options to enhance application flexibility.
Humphrey 318 Series are multi-purpose 2-position 3-way valves; the 418 Series are multi-purpose five-ported 4-way valves. Both series feature 1/4" NPSF Ports, a NEMA 4 Rating, Flush Non-Locking Manual Override, Rotatable and Interchangeable Coils, and are rated from 28" Hg to 125psig. The valves can be mounted inline, on a manifold or with DIN rail clips. Both 318 Series and 418 Series valves can be mounted in any configuration on the 418, three-gallery manifold. Manifolds are available for up to twelve stations.
Optional accessories for the 318/418 Series valves include isolator plugs to create separate zones in a single manifold, separate air supply/exhaust plates, block off plates to allow for future expansion, integral flow control (318 only), sandwich-style speed control (418 only), plus optional surge suppression and solenoid covers for fluid applications or harsh environments.
