Bewator Lightens Access Security Load with Eventys Lite

Access Security specialist, Bewator, has launched Eventys Lite, a new cost effective, simple to use, mid range, 16 channel digital video recorder (DVR), based on the company's highly successful Eventys technology.
Suitable for a wide range of applications, from retail outlets and public buildings to airports and town centres, Eventys Lite incorporates a wide range of functionality. Equipped with advanced alarm management capabilities, alarms can be triggered either by motion detection or by alarm relay inputs; all of which can be configured to a range of parameters, including time of day and weekend operation.
Eventys Lite has been designed to allow quick and simple set up, yet provides features normally only associated with high-range DVRs. At its heart is an embedded LINUX operating system and motion compression JPEG compression engine. Audio and video storage is provided by either a 300 or 600GB drive backed by up to two removable disk drives, providing up to 31 days, high quality recording capacity. The DVR is equipped with a LAN connection to enable remote viewing and control of the DVR and PTZ Domes.
