SOR® Series 102/103 Differential Pressure Switches Provide Wide Pressure Range

SOR® Series 102/103 Differential Pressure Switches are robust, field-mounted instruments. The 102 pressure sensing assembly features a piston, while the 103 pressure sensing assembly uses a diaphragm piston combination. Both models are certified for service in non-hazardous or hazardous locations.

Features include: rugged stainless steel construction, high static pressure applications and a small dead band.

The Series 102 switch is suited for low-to-high differential pressure process or fluid power applications where high and varying static pressures, high over-range, proof, shock pressure or cycle rates are expected. The series 103 model is designed for low-to-medium differential pressure process or fluid power applications where similar system behavior is expected.

"This particular product is crucial for the company that needs an instrument to handle all pressure ranges," says SOR Product Manager, Michael Lian, "the 102/103 series has options ranging from 7-inch wcd to 2500 psid."

The 102/103 Series rugged construction, ability to withstand full High and Low side pressure reversals, and excellent corrosion resistance to hostile environment make it an ideal choice for power plant and other industrial applications.
