Stoody® ToolTherm 225FC-G Die Wire Features Impact Resistance for Forging Industry Applications



St. Louis - June 14, 2002 - Stoody® ToolTherm 225FC-G flux cored, gas shielded die wires are ideal for the repair of metal working components in the forging industry.

The die wires are available in 3/32" (2.4mm) and 1/8" (3.2mm) diameters, with both sizes offering good wear resistance as well as excellent impact resistance and hot working characteristics. Both are compatible with 75% Argon and 25% CO2 shielding gas.

The 3/32" die wire has a current range of 350-500 amps and 29-32 volts, and has a wire extension of 3/4" - 1¼". The 1/8" die wire has a current range of 500-700 amps and 30-34 volts, with a wire extension of 1" - 1½".
