Parker Introduces In-Line Diagnostic Tees

COLUMBUS, Ohio-Parker Hannifin Corporation's Tube Fittings Division has introduced a series of in-line diagnostic tees to complement electronic diagnostic products from Parker and other manufacturers of mechanical pressure and temperature-sensing equipment.

The heavy-duty tees-which also can be used for hydraulic fluid sampling and bleeding purposes-are available in 16 sizes and end configurations in the two most common mobile and industrial hydraulic connections: O-ring face seal and 37° flare (JIC). The tees' swivel feature offers flexible positioning without displacing the port adapter. Simply remove the hose swivel and insert the diagnostic tee.

Designed for permanent OEM or temporary MRO diagnostic applications, the diagnostic port's 7/16-20 UNF (1/4" SAE-ORB) adapts to most industrial diagnostic tips, including Parker's line of diagnostic and fluid sampling tips. The tees also work with various direct-connecting electronic and mechanical pressure gauges and hydraulic adapters.

"Our diagnostic tees provide optimum flexibility for conducting quick pressure and temperature checks in the field without having to tap directly into valves and hydraulic components," said Brian Smith, Product Manager. "Typically, diagnostic tips are inserted only in limited locations in the hydraulic system-but by placing a tee in-line between the hose and the adapter, access is often easier and quicker, and the tee can be left in-line for future use. Large hydraulic lines can also be accessed without having to use several reducer connections."

To order the diagnostic tees, contact an authorized Parker Distributor or visit Parker's website for a current list of distributor locations.
