DFT Inc. to Debut NAB (Nickel-Aluminum Bronze) Silent Check Valves at Valve World Americas Expo & Conference 2013

Trade Show Takes Place in Houston on June 25 and 26

Exton, PA - DFT Inc., an industry leader in the manufacture of in-line check valves for more than 65 years, announces its participation in Valve World Americas Expo Conference 2013, where DFT® will debut its new GLC® and Excalibur® NAB (Nickel-Aluminum Bronze) silent check valves.

DFT's GLC and Excalibur NAB (Nickel-Aluminum Bronze) silent check valves are spring-assisted, nozzle-style, non-slam check valves designed to withstand the harsh environments of salt and brine water applications where corrosion resistance and marine life deterrents are requirements. DFT’s center-guided check valves provide reliable, low-maintenance service and solve the problems associated with water hammer and severe applications and environments.

DFT will exhibit the NAB valves at Valve World Americas Expo on June 25 and 26, 2013. After a successful first U.S. trade show in 2011, the Valve World Expo moves this year to a much larger venue, the George R. Brown Convention Center in central downtown Houston.

"We're looking forward to unveiling our Nickel-Aluminum Bronze valves at Valve World," commented Jeff Kane, sales and marketing manager at DFT. "The extensive features of these new NAB silent check valves set them far above anything our competitors will be displaying."

DFT has been manufacturing in-line check valves for more than 65 years. It began when a customer needed a small metal-seated check valve that could be installed in any position while providing tight shut-off, and DFT developed the Basic-Check® valve. Over the ensuing decades, other customers' requirements led to the creation of the ALC®, DLC®, DSV®, Excalibur®, FBC™, GLC®, GPV™, PDC®, SCV®, and WLC® styles of in-line silent check valves. With the objective of solving check valve problems and preventing failures, DFT learns from listening to its customers that each industry has special needs that exceed other check valve designs. DFT specializes in providing in-line check valves that meet consumer requirements, as opposed to simply meeting line size. DFT's Check Valve Doctor™ satisfies those requirements by making minor modifications to existing valves, resulting in improved performance and extended service life.
