New SF Series From Michell Instruments Offers Cost-effective Means to Control Moisture
The new SF Series from Michell Instruments offers a step forward in the cost-efficient control of moisture via dew point measurement in all industrial areas where increased energy savings and efficiency create a unique competitive advantage.
In applications such as refrigeration dryers the process is often controlled using temperature measurement. Adding an efficient moisture control via dew point measurement enhances the efficiency of the process and allows significant savings in energy costs.
With a measurement range of -40 to +60°C dp the SF Series dew point transmitter satisfies customers' needs for precise and stable measurement not only in the refrigerant dryer industry but also in a range of other energy critical applications like pneumatic systems.
The SF series trace moisture sensor can be mounted directly into the output of the dryer and is protected by a HDPE disk filter, which prevents contamination of the sensor by particulate matter without disturbing the sample flow. Although small in size the SF series dew point transmitter safely works in pressures up to 20 bar. The standard output is temperature compensated and measured in °C dew point. For increased flexibility the customer can specify absolute humidity in g/m³.
