Gene-4312E XP-E Development Kit
Windows® XP-Embedded Ready!
Powered by the National Semiconductor® NS Geode GX1 300MHz Low Power CPU, the GENE-4312E is ideal for demanding multimedia and networking applications. With an ultra-compact footprint and fanless operation the GENE-4312E is a suitable solution for a variety of applications.
The GENE-4312E features the NS CS5530a chipset, dual PCI-bus Intel® 82559ER Fast Ethernet 10/100 Base-T ports, an onboard 144-pin SODIMM socket allowing for up to 128MB of SDRAM, two serial ports, one parallel port, and a CompactFlash® disk Type I/II socket. The GENE-4312E XP-E Development Kit includes 128MB of SDRAM and a 256MB Kingston® CompactFlash® module with Windows XP-Embedded OS installed. A keyboard/mouse Y-cable, 44-pin IDE cable, 34-pin floppy drive cable, a bracket with parallel and serial port cables and 2 flat cables for connecting the Audio/USB board to the main board are also included. A copy of the operating system image is provided on a CD and can be used to restore the image to the CompactFlash® module.
