Despatch Industries Sees Increase in Orders for PN Series Nitrogen Ovens from the Semiconductor Industry

Minneapolis, Minn., U.S.A. - Despatch Industries, the world's leading thermal processing equipment provider for over one hundred years, recently sold several PN nitrogen atmosphere ovens to customers in the semiconductor industry. The customers will utilize the PN ovens for several different semiconductor manufacturing, test and assembly applications.

Despatch PN Series ovens are ideal for applications that require processing in an inert atmosphere. These high performance ovens are available in two cabinet sizes and with two temperature ratings, 343°C (650°F) and 538°C (1000°F). Standard features on the PN ovens include digital PID control, heat exchanger and stainless steel interiors. PN ovens also offer, as standard, adjustable, recirculating air louvers that enable precision tuning for uniform airflow, even with varying load configurations.

The recent PN oven orders have included some of the available custom options, such as the paperless chart recorder, separate temperature meter, and oxygen monitor and control system. The separate temperature meter option includes additional thermocouples on a jack panel that the operator can plug into and check the air temperature inside the oven to make sure that it matches the temperature reading on the control. The oxygen monitor and control system allows the operator to automatically adjust the flow of nitrogen to maintain a specific oxygen level inside the oven.
