Robust Decisions Announces Release of Accord 2.3 Software
Latest Accord Desktop and Accord Server version now available
Corvallis, OR, December 19, 2006 - Robust Decisions, Inc, the creator of Bayesian Team Support(TM) (BTS) solutions and Accord(TM) software for decision-making, today announced the release of Accord version 2.3. Accord 2.3 is the latest Accord Desktop and Accord Server version of the Accord software suite and includes:
o Addition of the Accord browser
o Improved ability to manage 5-point (i.e. Likert Scale) criteria
o Improved Belief Map to Number Line conversion
o Ability to collect data via the Internet
o Improved rationale support
The Accord Browser Add-in facilitates the rapid collection of information needed to resolve an issue from domain experts. The decision owner sets up the problem in Accord., then selects the alternatives and criteria needing additional evaluation information. Accord then automatically sends emails to experts selected by decision owner whose input can help resolve the issue. The expert receives an email with direction for logging into a URL, which is a thin client to Accord. On the browser page, the user gives input through a simple graphical interface to provide evaluation and rationale. This information transparently fuses with other input on the decision owner's server. Accord analysis provides the decision owner with results showing alternative satisfaction and risk, guidance on what to do next, and other results to help reach an informed decision.
