Overview
Process-centric: V5.16 expands 64-bit support to Microsoft(TM) Windows(TM) XP Professional x64 Edition, leveraging the full scope of the V5 capabilities to support in-context, large scale relational design and review. ENOVIA - VPM Electrical Cable Route Management promotes concurrent engineering for electrical cable routing within large-scale products. ENOVIA - LCA Product Simulation Management fully integrates product simulation processes, data, and models with design and lifecycle management processes to improve productivity across domains.
Collaborative workspace: ENOVIA offers the collaborative environment and easy access to product process resources (PPR) information for all PLM users. ENOVIA Web Viewer facilitates rich 3D collaborative product reviews and persistent annotation between product development partners. A richer, lightweight 3D XML format for PLM further extends collaborative access across the extended enterprise.
V5.16 extends PLM collaboration with business partners. ENOVIA - VPM Supply Chain Engineering Exchange integrates finite element analysis specifications and results to fully support the extended enterprise global product simulation. Flexible exchange packages of CATIA relational data across ENOVIA, CATIA, and SMARTEAM facilitate engineering collaboration to enhance decision-making and productivity.
